This individual ideally could be based in either Albuquerque, NM, or greater Denver, CO area. This sales territory will include areas of New Mexico, west Texas, and Colorado. This role will report to Manko’s National Sales Manager and will work closely with Manko’s Colorado General Manager and team.In this position, the representative builds and maintains relationships with glazing contractors, architects, and other commercial construction stakeholders across the Colorado and New Mexico markets. Daily responsibilities include prospecting for new business, scheduling and conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations, and promoting Manko’s window, aluminum, and glass product lines. The role involves preparing project quotes, tracking opportunities, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries. The representative is expected to manage a sales territory, meet revenue and activity targets, and represent the company professionally at industry events, job site visits, and customer meetings. The role also involves understanding customer needs, promoting Manko Window Systems’ products, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales process.QualificationsStrong sales presentation and product demonstration skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical features and benefits.Proven relationship-building abilities with contractors, architects, and other decision-makers, focused on long-term partnerships.Solid customer service and communication skills, including active listening, follow-through, and timely responses.Experience in new business development, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing opportunities within a defined territory.Previous outside sales experience in building materials, fenestration, construction, or a related industry strongly preferred.Comfort with a hybrid work model, regular travel within the CO/NM market, and conducting both in-person and virtual meetings.Ability to interpret architectural drawings or specifications and learn technical product details; basic math and estimating skills.Proficiency with CRM tools, email, and standard office software; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.Proven track record in achieving sales goals and performance metricsKnowledge of the commercial window and glass industry preferred.High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field is beneficial and preferred.Learn more about the Manko Window Systems, Inc. culture here: Careers - Manko Window Systems, Inc.Employment Notice: Manko Window Systems, Inc. is a drug and alcohol free workplace, all potential employees must pass a drug/alcohol screening prior to job offer.
