In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of Finance for Payroll department while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.Your Role on the TeamTax Allocation & Compliance Prepare and reconcile tax allocation schedules for players and staffAssist with gathering documentation for income tax preparation and tax auditsEnsure tax-related transactions are accurately recorded and properly allocatedCollaborating with external tax advisorsCommission Administration Calculate, validate, and process employee and partner commission paymentsReconcile commission reports with sales and financial dataInvestigate and resolve commission discrepanciesMaintain commission models, calculations, and supporting documentationOrganizational Reporting Creates and maintains custom and compliance reports in HRIS/Payroll System (Dayforce)Audits and validates data to maintain data integrity to ensure adherence to system controls and company policiesAssists with report development and analysis of compensation data in support of internal and external compliance auditsResponsible for the compilation and validation of data required for League (NBA, WNBA, G - League) ReportingAudit Support Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external auditsMaintain organized financial records and supporting documentationRespond to auditor requests and assist in resolving audit findingsEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controlsGeneral Ledger Assist in preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsAssist in research and resolving accounting discrepancies and reconciling itemsYour Skills and ExperienceExperience supporting audits and tax-related processes is preferredExperience in sales commissions or incentive compensation is preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or payroll reportingThe Team & ExperienceWe believe great organizations are built by great people.
