Role: Fashion & Textile Designer We are seeking a full-time, on-site Associate Designer in Manhattan, NY. You will design textile patterns and graphics, collaborate with design and production teams, and contribute to seasonal collections while staying current with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Create sketches, samples, and designs for textiles, prints, and graphics that align with the brand’s vision. Develop innovative textile and graphic solutions for apparel and accessories. Collaborate with teams to ensure designs are production-ready. Stay updated on trends, materials, and techniques to inspire new designs.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in textile and fabric design. Experience in graphic design for fashion/textile applications. Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into designs. Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Understanding of textile production processes and materials. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with print development. Knowledge of trend forecasting and color theory. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
