Quality Assurance Specialist
Required Skills & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred. 1-3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, compliance, documentation, or a related field. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience reviewing technical documentation and material certifications. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. ISO experience.
Nice to Have: Skills & Experience: Experience supporting military, aerospace, defense, naval, or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with ASTM standards, military specifications, and DFARS requirements. Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred). Exposure to CMM or NDT processes.
Job Description: Review supplier certifications and documentation to verify compliance with purchase orders, contracts, and material specifications. Conduct quality reviews of customer orders and prepare required documentation and data packages. Maintain supplier records and ensure documentation is uploaded accurately and on time. Manage objective quality evidence (OQE) records and compliance documentation for customer projects. Interpret engineering drawings, contracts, bills of materials, work instructions, and material specifications. Prepare assembly and pump kit documentation packages prior to manufacturing and testing. Support and participate in internal quality audits. Utilize ERP systems and other business applications to track documentation and quality records. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and quality process enhancements.
