About the role
This Pathology Locum Tenens position is located in Minnesota.
Location: Western Minnesota (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: December August 2027 (potential to extend)
Reason for coverage: Extra Help, per diem coverage
Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month
Shift: Monday Friday, 8a-5pCall: None
Patient volume: TBDScope: Anatomical Pathology Typical specimens include - breast, prostate, derm biopsies, esophageal and colon biopsies, gall bladder, appendix, uterus, and others. Physician does gross the highly complex specimens (breast, uterus, prostate, etc) which is roughly 1-2 hours/day. Some frozen sections (3-5 a month at most) would also be required.
EMR: EPICHospital: 64 staffed beds
TraumaLevel IIIGroup/support: Full subspecialty support
Requirements:
Board certified (or board eligible w.in 5 years of training), MN license (or compact), MN DEA (yes this is required here), BLS (this is a bylaw and non-negotiable) ALL Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities Assistance with credentialing provided EXPEDITED in less than 30 days with clean file Call or Email for further details
