Job Description: Packager / Helper
Location: Canton, MI Pay: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary: Do you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that knows how to get the job done while having a little fun along the way? We’re hiring a Packager / Helper in Canton, MI to assist with packaging and handling steel products. This is an active, physical role where attention to detail and enthusiasm go hand in hand.
What You'll Be Doing: As a Packager / Helper, your core responsibilities will include: Banding and Packaging Coils: Secure and prepare steel coils for shipment to ensure safe transport. Loading and Unloading Materials: Move products throughout the facility with care and accuracy. Supporting Production: Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked for efficient operation. In addition, you will also be expected to follow safety protocols and assist other team members as needed to meet production goals.
What We're Looking For: To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications: Previous experience in manufacturing required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Steel industry experience is a plus
Skills: Team Spirit: Works well with others and contributes to a fun, hardworking atmosphere. Attention to Detail: Ensures packaging is accurate and secure every time. Positive Attitude: Brings enthusiasm and energy to daily tasks.
