About the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering required.5‑8 years minimum, related experience in geology within the mining industry; underground mine experience required.
- Proven experience collecting geological field data, underground mapping and sampling preferred.
- Previous managerial position experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to compile, interpret, and analyze geologic and assay data to support operational decisions.
- Previous responsibility managing geological drilling programs and contracts.
- Proficiency with geological software packages (Seequent – Leapfrog Geo, Maptek – Vulcan, Deswik – CAD/Map) and database management software (AcQuire, MS Access)
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to multiple levels of operations and management.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work on a team and independently.
- Valid driver’s license and authorized to work in the US.Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements

- Wears Personal Protective Equipment at all times while in the production environment.
