Technology is moving quickly, and our teams are helping partners stay ahead.The Technical Solutions Specialist team works directly with reseller and internal partners to build complete solutions, identify opportunities, and support the sale of appropriate products and services. Sometimes that means responding quickly to partner requests by email, phone, online chat, or Microsoft calendar bookings. Other times it means uncovering the end-user need, clarifying budget and close date, and expanding the opportunity with the right services, support, warranty, maintenance, or adjacent technology options. It's a collaborative, sales-focused role where consistency, responsiveness, technical product knowledge, and strong partner engagement all matter.This is a hybrid role - 3 days/week onsite - and can be based at one of the following locations:Buffalo, NYScottsdale, AZGreer, SCThe ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and always learning. In this role, you'll work with people across countries and technologies, share ideas openly, and help partners feel more confident navigating complex solutions.What You'll DoBuild complete technology solutions and identify opportunities to help partners complete the sale with appropriate products and servicesRespond to reseller and internal partner requests expediently and efficiently through email, phone, online chat, and Microsoft calendar bookingsIdentify key opportunity details, including budget, end-user information, business need, and close dateExpand opportunities by recommending services, support, warranty, maintenance, and adjacent technology optionsSupport cross-sell conversations by identifying additional products or services that strengthen the overall solutionMaintain productivity, engagement, and service-level metrics while delivering a consistent partner experienceWhat You Bring To The RoleFormal education or hands-on experience with technology products preferredEffective communication skills with multiple levels of customers, reseller partners, and internal stakeholdersProficiency with Microsoft Office products and associated softwareAbility to follow direction while also taking initiative when neededTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to receive constructive feedback as an opportunity to improveHigh school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree preferredThree years of general experience or two years of functional experience preferredAbility to apply acquired job skills, company policies, and procedures to complete assigned tasksYou'll work with advanced technologies, global teams, and strategic partners while building technical expertise and visibility across the business.The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $50,500.00 - $80,800.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives.
