IT Training & Curriculum DeveloperLocation: Austin, TX (Hybrid – Texas Residents Only)Contract: 6+ months (with potential extension)We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to design and develop impactful, user-friendly curriculum and training programs. This role blends instructional design and technical writing to create engaging, accessible content that supports IT certification initiatives and drives effective learning outcomes.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience designing and delivering training curricula5+ years of technical writing and business documentation experienceStrong ability to simplify and communicate complex technical informationProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience developing content across multiple formats (ILT, eLearning, job aids, video)Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning conceptsAbility to adapt training for diverse technologies and audiencesKey Responsibilities:Design and develop IT training curricula, including course outlines, instructor-led materials, job aids, and multimedia contentTranslate complex technical concepts, systems, and processes into clear, user-friendly documentation and training materialsPartner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of contentEvaluate and enhance materials for accessibility, usability, and overall learning effectivenessContinuously improve training content based on feedback and evolving business needsGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women's Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
