About the role
Leading complex product safety investigations, the full-time salaried Product Safety Engineer will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle in Woodinville, WA or New York City, NY.
Key responsibilities:
Serve as the senior technical resource for executing 8D methodologies and root-cause analysis in product safety investigations
Partner with teams to maintain and execute expedited triage processes for safety escalations involving executives and members
Engage with product development teams to identify design constraints and mitigate safety risks from concept through productionRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of specialized experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, or quality engineering
Master-level expertise in structured root-cause methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone)
Demonstrated experience with global product certifications through third-party laboratories
Strong proficiency in data management and analytics software (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Excel)
