About the role

Manufacturing Supervisor This position is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and support of bargaining unit employees in rotation groups with team leaders in the manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, distribution, and/or development of motorcycles or motorcycle component parts. The role involves supporting rotation groups to achieve department metrics for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, and sustainability. The supervisor acts as a key link in the help chain for the rotation groups and team leaders, providing mentoring, resources, tools, and direction needed for the value adders to be as effective and efficient as possible. The majority of the time is spent on the shop floor.
Required Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Previous Supervisory Experience Ability to work directly for Artech on W2 Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience with CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies Knowledge of test equipment and preventative maintenance plans Experience in developing improvements in product design and manufacturing processes
Day-to-Day: Responsibilities Provide manufacturing support for RLGs, specifically glass machining Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitating issue identification and analysis Facilitate a self-driven workforce culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals Test products & software and complete failure analysis, manufacturing assembly, and test on returned goods Company Benefits & Culture Opportunities for professional development and growth Supportive team environment Commitment to sustainability and innovation
