About the Role: The Company is in search of a VP, Engineering to lead its dynamic engineering organization. The successful candidate will be the operational backbone of the engineering teams, with a primary focus on leadership, team building, and instilling process and operational discipline. This role is pivotal in driving the consistent execution of high-quality software, and the VP, Engineering will be accountable for the end-to-end process, from planning to operation. Deep engineering expertise is essential for making sound technical tradeoffs, but the role is primarily about leading and growing the team. The VP, Engineering will work closely with product and company leadership to prioritize the roadmap, ensure clear execution plans, and hold the organization accountable for delivery. Candidates for the VP, Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering leadership role. The role requires a leader with a strong background in full-stack development and cloud-native architecture, who is adept at managing teams across multiple locations, including distributed or offshore teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in people leadership, process and operational rigor, and the ability to prioritize and execute against business goals. Experience in a B2B SaaS company, particularly in the Gov Con, federal, or regulated enterprise market, is a plus.
