Powerline Shop Job Summary: Serves as a lead specialists focused on the installation, modification, and repair of high voltage electrical distribution systems, facilities, and related systems.
Job Description: Installs, modifies, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment and circuits. Constructs and maintains power lines and streetlights. Recommends and implements changes to improve existing processes. Provides technical guidance and direction as a team lead.
Job Responsibilities
Preferred Experience: Six (6) years of experience related to the above described duties, two (2) of which must be at the journey level. Licensure and Certification: Must have a valid class A or B Commercial Driver License (CDL). Must complete TVPPA Pre-Apprentice Assessment Workshop or equivalent within 12 months of employment. TVPPA Fundamentals Lab 1, Construction Lab 2, Operations Lab 3, Underground Lab 4, and Troubleshooting Lab 5 must be completed within (3) three years after successfully completing the Pre- Apprentice Assessment Workshop.
