Saint Frances Animal Center is looking for an energetic, motivated, and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a shelter-based clinic in Georgetown, South Carolina, focused on high-volume spay/neuter services as well as a small public community clinic. Our mission is to provide compassionate care, safe shelter, and second chances for dogs and cats while strengthening our community through education, outreach, and accessible veterinary services.

What You’ll Do: Provide basic animal care, including safe handling and restraint Administer vaccinations and medications Draw blood and run in-house lab work (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal tests) Take radiographs (X-rays) Place IV catheters and administer fluids Monitor patients under anesthesia Prepare surgical packs and assist with procedures Maintain accurate medical records and notes Support clients with professionalism and compassion
What We’re Looking For: Previous veterinary or surgical experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate!) Strong work ethic and positive attitude Compassion, integrity, and attention to detail Good physical health; ability to lift 50+ lbs Reliable transportation Strong customer service and communication skills
