About the role
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Transportation Planner will be responsible for matching available drivers and equipment to customer loads, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful load planning and customer satisfaction during the third shift from Tuesday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities:
Leverage market data to make profit-based decisions
Collaborate with operations, customer service, sales, and pricing teams to ensure goals are met
Analyze shipping trends to identify improvement opportunities in the geographical market
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Minimum one year of transportation or truck dispatch experience preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams
