Hospice CNA/HHA We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Hospice Aideto provide personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes. The Hospice Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and plays a vital role in ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for patients and their families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direct patient care according to the established Plan of Care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, nutrition, and mobility. Support safe transfers and ambulation. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Report changes in patient condition to the supervising RN. Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients, families, and staff. Use and handle durable medical equipment as needed. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care. Follow infection control and safety procedures Uphold agency policies and professional standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma preferred. Completion of an approved training and competency Nurse Aide program. Current state certification as a Nurse Aide (TX), Home Health Aide (OK) Current CPR certification. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance. At least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide, Nursing Assistant, or similar role preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT Care provided in patient homes under varying conditions. Exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids possible. Requires local travel and ability to work a flexible schedule. May involve prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 *Employees are eligible for different benefits based on their employment status.
