About the role

Cybersecurity Engineer Join a leading organization supporting nuclear and critical infrastructure operations as a Cybersecurity OT Specialist. This is an opportunity to play a hands-on role protecting essential systems that communities rely on every day, while working alongside experienced engineering and operations teams. It’s an ideal role for someone early in their career who’s ready to grow and make a tangible impact.
What You’ll Do: Help safeguard operational systems by reviewing changes and ensuring security is built in from the ground up. Monitor and respond to potential threats, keeping critical infrastructure secure and running smoothly. Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity practices across complex, real-world environments.
What We’re Looking For: 3–4 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or operational technology, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated industries. A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach. A relevant degree or certifications are valued, but just as important is a genuine interest in protecting critical systems and continuing to learn.
Additional Details: Not open to Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements. Apply here or reach out directly at jacob.simmonds@jcwgroup.com for more information

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
