GovWell is hiring a Payments Engineer to own the local government payments space and build it into the financial backbone of the platform. This domain is still being defined, so you will shape core architecture, not just extend someone else’s design. We value real auditability, precise fee calculations, and a system finance teams can trust. You’ll have autonomy and ownership far beyond typical roles at GovWell, with a hybrid NYC-based office and remote flexibility.
