Position Summary: Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking a compassionate and reliable Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 in-home support for an adult with autism. This position is based in a private home setting in Fisher, IN.This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting an individual in developing independence, daily living skills, and overall quality of life in a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct 1:1 care in a home setting
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBASupport daily living activities and routines
  • Collect and record data on behaviors and progress
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
  • Assist with de-escalation and behavior management as needed
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team and family
Qualifications:
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with teens or adults with autism strongly preferred
  • Experience with behavior management and de-escalation techniques
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation
