Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join an AAHA-accredited small animal practice with a longstanding reputation for attentive veterinary medicine and trusted client relationships. Serving a loyal community of pet owners for approximately 30 years, this opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys combining preventative healthcare with the investigation and management of common companion animal conditions. Both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates are encouraged to apply, with dedicated mentorship available to support clinical confidence and professional development. The successful candidate will care for a varied population of dogs and cats, with particular emphasis on senior pet medicine, dermatological concerns, ear infections, gastrointestinal disorders, parasite prevention and routine wellness examinations. Access to ultrasound, diagnostic radiography and surgical facilities supports thorough clinical assessments and individualised treatment planning. Working alongside experienced veterinary colleagues, the role encourages collaborative case management, evidence-based decision-making and a compassionate approach to client communication. Flexible employment arrangements and a four-day operating schedule provide an attractive opportunity to develop a rewarding veterinary career. Qualifications Needed: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification from an accredited institution. Current Washington veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain the appropriate professional registration. A genuine interest in companion animal medicine, particularly preventative healthcare, senior pet management and common dermatological conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish trusted relationships with pet owners while collaborating effectively with veterinary colleagues. Commitment to compassionate patient care, professional ethics and continued clinical learning, with recent graduates welcome to apply. Package: Flexible full-time and part-time employment opportunities, with current operating hours from Tuesday to Friday, 8am to 7pm. Dedicated clinical mentorship for veterinary graduates and opportunities to develop confidence through collaborative case discussions. Access to modern ultrasound, diagnostic radiography and surgical equipment within an AAHA-accredited clinical environment. Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance options, alongside additional eligible healthcare benefits. Annual continuing education allowances with paid professional development days and access to extensive clinical training resources. 401(k) retirement savings arrangements with employer matching contributions supporting long-term financial planning. Paid parental leave, annual holiday entitlement and sick leave provisions for eligible employees. Opportunities to participate in veterinary clinical studies and develop professional interests through research-related activities. Employee discounts on veterinary services and potential eligibility for additional variable compensation programmes. An established and loyal client base providing continuity of care and a rewarding caseload involving senior pets, preventative medicine and common companion animal conditions.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
