About the role

The Quality Engineer plays a key role in advancing the organization's quality strategy, working directly with the Vice President of Quality to identify, lead, and execute process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for driving defect prevention through robust process controls, proactive risk assessment, and data-driven continuous improvement, with the goal of reducing variation, eliminating waste, and delivering consistently high-quality product to customers. Partnering closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and cross-functional teams, the Quality Engineer develops and maintains PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process flow documentation that anchor quality at every stage of production. The role leads process capability studies (Cpk/Ppk), statistical process control, and measurement system analysis to ensure processes are stable, capable, and predictable. When issues arise, the Quality Engineer drives structured root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) using proven problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis, ensuring fixes are verified, sustained, and built back into the system.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.5+ years of manufacturing or aerospace quality experience. Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCCA, and Lean principles. ASQ CQE certification preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition to competitive benefits, an generous annual bonus which is paid out quarterly.
