This is an associate to hire opportunity in Rogersville, MO.Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Grind scrap product material as required during production operations Read and interpret Work Order Travelers (WOTs) to verify product specifications, including product type, tape, color, size, print requirements, and reel specifications Tie off, band, test, and tag finished reels according to company procedures and move completed products to designated holding areas Perform on-line quality checks to verify product dimensions and appearance meet required tolerances and customer specifications Accurately document product dimensions, production data, and operating conditions in a neat and timely manner Operate forklift to move materials, finished products, and production-related materials throughout the warehouse and production areas when trained and authorized to do so Immediately report defects, quality concerns, or specification changes to the Shift Supervisor or Lead Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to housekeeping standards Follow and promote all company safety and quality policies and procedures Wear all required PPE at all times while on the production floor
Operator Requirements: Previous manufacturing or production experience required Operator experience in a manufacturing environment required Forklift experience is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to accurately complete production documentation and follow work instructions Strong teamwork and communication skills Must demonstrate safety awareness and follow all safety procedures consistently Dependable attendance and punctuality required Provide proper notice for absences or tardiness whenever possible Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and twisting during production activities Occasionally lift 50-70 pounds independently Occasionally participate in team lifts exceeding 70 pounds Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing environment Ability to safely work around moving machinery, production equipment, and industrial materials Work in a manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures Maintain high standards of safety, quality, teamwork, and professionalism at all times Must have 9 months or more in previous work history
