We’ve partnered with a global Am Law top 10 firm in its search for a Business Development professional supporting the firm’s Financial Institutions practice. The opportunity is open at the Specialist, Senior Specialist, or first-time Manager level, depending on experience. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and practice leadership to support strategic business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and help drive growth across the practice. We would love to speak with individuals who bring business development and/or marketing experience from a law firm or professional services environment. Experience supporting Financial Institutions, Financial Services, Banking, or broader transactional practices would be particularly attractive. The firm is open to candidates at varying levels, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their law-firm BD career as well as an experienced Specialist ready to move into management. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Partner with attorneys and practice leadership to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the Financial Institutions practice’s growth priorities. Support client and prospect targeting initiatives, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand the firm’s client base. Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that can inform business development strategy. Support client relationship management initiatives, including preparation for key client meetings and development of targeted client plans. Coordinate business development activities, events, conferences, sponsorships, and other initiatives designed to enhance the practice’s profile and strengthen client relationships. Collaborate with Marketing and Communications colleagues on thought leadership, awards, directory submissions, and other profile-raising initiatives.
