Preschool Director

Role Description: The Preschool Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Broken Arrow, OK, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool program. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising classroom activities, and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The Preschool Director will collaborate with teachers to plan and implement curriculum, support family communication, and coordinate enrollment and admissions processes. Additional responsibilities include overseeing budgeting and resource allocation for the preschool, maintaining compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, and upholding the academy’s faith-based mission and values in all aspects of program leadership. The Preschool Director will also lead staff meetings, provide coaching and professional development, and build strong partnerships with parents and guardians.

Qualifications: Background in Education and Early Childhood Education, with knowledge of best practices for preschool-age learners. Experience in Curriculum Development for early childhood or kindergarten-level programs. Understanding of Kindergarten readiness and progression to early elementary grades. Ability to manage Budgeting and resource planning for a preschool program. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field; advanced degree is beneficial. Previous leadership or administrative experience in a school, preschool, or childcare setting. Strong organizational, communication, and team management skills. Commitment to working in a faith-based environment and supporting the academy’s Christian mission. Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and school safety procedures.
