The role also involves building external partnerships in the AI ecosystem, driving high-impact AI initiatives, and establishing frameworks for evaluating and adopting new AI technologies. Applicants for the Vice President of AI position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, particularly in healthcare, insurance, or related industries. A proven track record in AI governance, strategy, and innovation, as well as hands-on experience with large language models, modern AI frameworks, and AI infrastructure, is essential. The role requires a leader with deep expertise in AI technologies, including MLOps practices, and a strong understanding of AI's applications in multimodal systems.
