About the role
Job Description:
Rose-Wall Mfg.is looking for a skilled and dependable Automotive Painterto join our manufacturing team. This position involves painting water trucks, truck bodies, fabricated equipment, and a variety of other parts and components.
Responsibilities:
Prep, sand, clean, and mask equipment and parts for painting
Paint complete water trucks, truck bodies, and miscellaneous fabricated parts
Apply primers, sealers, and automotive-grade paint and coatings
Mix paint and maintain proper paint-to-hardener/reducer ratios
Operate spray guns and other painting equipment
Inspect finished work for proper coverage, finish, and quality
Perform touch-ups and corrections when needed
Maintain a clean and organized paint area
Properly clean and maintain spray guns and painting equipment
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Work with the production team to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications:
Previous automotive, industrial, or equipment painting experience preferred
Experience with spray guns and paint mixing
Ability to properly prep surfaces before painting
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to paint a variety of equipment and parts—not just vehicles
Experience with bodywork, sanding, or fabrication is a plus
About the Job:
This is a hands-on manufacturing position where no two days are exactly the same. You may be painting an entire water truck one day and smaller fabricated parts or equipment components the next. We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing a high-quality, professional finish.
Experience level:
Experienced preferred, but motivated candidates with strong painting skills will be considered.
