About the role

Senior Property Accountant Omaha, NE | Full-Time | On-Site Goldenrod is a growing commercial real estate and family office enterprise with a national portfolio spanning development, acquisitions, asset management, and investment operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Property Accountant to join our Omaha shared-services team. Reporting to the CFO and Controller, this person will take ownership of accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial, residential, and industrial real estate assets.
What You’ll Do: Manage property accounting activities, including AP/AR, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Support timely and accurate month-end close processes and monthly property management reporting Review commercial leases and accurately enter lease terms into Yardi Complete annual common-area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations for commercial properties Coordinate annual operating budgets and ensure assigned workflows are completed on time Support new-property setup, analysis, and follow-up on outstanding items Maintain accurate property records and a strong understanding of property-specific processes
What You Bring: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting At least 3 years of commercial or residential property accounting experience Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property accounting software Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style If you enjoy ownership, variety, and the opportunity to support a growing real estate platform, we’d love to connect.
