Design functional residential cabinetry layouts based on customer requirements, customer-provided drawing, field measurements, sketches, photographs, and/or existing site conditions.
Produce accurate AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
Prepare clear and professional drawing packages for customer review, approval, fabrication, and installation.
Coordinate cabinetry with appliances, plumbing fixtures, countertops, walls, doors, windows, electrical locations, and other site conditions.
Account for cabinet construction, materials, hardware, required clearances, and installation requirements.
Revise drawings based on customer selections and feedback, updated field information, and internal review comments.
Review drawings for dimensional accuracy, constructability, and completeness before release to production.
Identify missing information, dimensional conflicts, or site conditions that could affect fabrication or installation.
Communicate with customers and coordinate with project managers, production personnel, and installers throughout each project.What We're Looking For
Quality First Woodworks is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Design / CAD Drafter to join our residential cabinetry department.
This position is responsible for developing custom cabinetry layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas of the home, then producing detailed CAD drawing packages for customer approval and fabrication.
The ideal candidate can independently manage assigned projects from the initial layout through final shop drawings while coordinating with customers, project managers, and production personnel.
Ability to adapt to new software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
