- Demonstrates knowledge of etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and epidemiology of medical conditions
- Utilizes critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data
- Develops, implements, and alters the plans of care as indicated
- Demonstrates proficiency in procedural skills pertinent to practice area Patient Care
- Provides compassionate care, incorporating the patient and family in care planning and treatment across settings
- Serves as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system
- Clinical documentation, including coding and billing, meets all required standards
- Utilization and proficiency of EHR, allowing for timely completion of documentation Practice Based Learning and Clinical Improvement
- Demonstrates insight into own strengths, limitations, and knowledge deficits, continuously seeking opportunities for clinical advancement and skill attainment
- Actively participates in self-evaluation by seeking and utilizing guidance and constructive feedback in a professional manner Communication and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Works and communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members, all related health professionals, patients and their families

Education & Experience:
- Doctoral degree in podiatric medicine
- Completion of accredited residency with board qualification or certification
- Surgical experience preferred
