Key Responsibilities:
Accurately compound, fill, and label prescriptions for inpatient and outpatient care. Manage pharmacy inventory, and restock department supplies. Collaborate with veterinarians and vet techs to anticipate medication needs. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards within the pharmacy area. Manage blood, urine, and cytology samples. Prepare samples that are going to the outside laboratory. Analysis and complete testing for samples that will be performed in hospital Update patient records with results for accuracy
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a pharmacy or laboratory technician (veterinary or human healthcare setting).Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. A compassionate, team-first attitude and great communication skills. Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and inventory control.
