Description:
Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Kitchen Utility Aide to join our team! Full-time position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.
Washes all wares including but not limited to: pots, pans, flatware, and glasses both by hand and using commercial dishwashers.
Correctly places and stores dishes and utensils in assigned storage areas.
Stocks serving stations, cabinets, refrigerators, server, and kitchen with necessary dishes and utensils.
Responsible for taking the trash to appropriate receptacles for disposal.
Clean and sanitize equipment based on cleaning and routine maintenance schedules and use only approved chemicals and tools.
Maintain and rotate products to ensure dates have not expired and products are used timely.
Perform routine food service tasks, under direct supervision of Managers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Past experience in heavy cleaning of Kitchen Equipment is preferred
Ability to follow directions, read SDS Sheets, and Understand PPE Equipment
