Role Description: Herald is hiring a senior, full-cycle seller to help us build the sales function behind the Compass Method Operating System. This is not an SDR role. You will not be handed a list and asked to fill my calendar with unqualified calls. You will own the full commercial relationship:-Find the right founder-led businesses through thoughtful LinkedIn outreach-Start real conversations-Run a short Fit Call to determine whether CMOS is right for the business-Walk qualified buyers through the product and close the diagnostic-Stay involved through intake and report delivery-Help customers understand their completed roadmap-Identify the few customers who may be right for deeper support through School of Scale or Compass HQCMOS is a paid growth diagnostic for founder-led businesses with traction. It helps a business identify the constraint limiting growth, then gives its team the next 90 days of work in order. The work is not transactional. You need to be able to hold a thoughtful conversation with a founder who has several reasonable ideas competing for the next quarter, help them understand why diagnosis comes before prescription, and earn the right to guide them to a decision. We are looking for someone who has sourced and closed their own deals before, writes like a human, takes ownership without needing heavy management, and is comfortable being measured by outcomes.
The role: U.S.-based only -Nashville preferred -1099 contractor -Work your own hours and manage your own calendar -Base plus performance bonus -Target OTE: $90K+The role is tied to sales quality, paid diagnostics, customer activation, and the right downstream opportunities, not raw activity volume This is a good fit for someone who wants real autonomy and wants their work tied directly to revenue. It is not a fit for someone who needs a rigid schedule, a high-volume call-center environment, or a script to hide behind.
