Job Title: Tax Senior Manager
Location: Grand Rapids | Employment Type: Full-Time Hybrid We are a well-established, client-focused CPA firm serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead tax engagements, mentor staff and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. Position Summary The Tax Senior Manager will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and provide leadership. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys hands-on work, values work-life balance and wants to play a meaningful role in a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities: ·      Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates·      Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services·      Research and resolve complex tax issues; prepare and review technical memoranda as needed·      Oversee tax compliance workflow, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and firm procedures are met·      Mentor, train, and evaluate staff and senior accountants·      Assist with firm management initiatives, process improvements, and client development efforts·      Facilitate financial statement and compilation engagements for selected business clients.
