Senior Heavy Assembler, 1st Shift Trinity Rail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Senior Heavy Assembler, 1st shift at our Shell Rock, IA office. What you'll do:
Assemble fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies or complete units. Lay out reference points, position, align and fit together fabricated parts of metal or fiberglass mold according to blueprint and layout specifications mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks)Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)Read blueprints Operate overhead cranes Utilize hand tools to bend or form parts Follow all safety rules and practices Be involved in safety committees or initiatives, as needed Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
Minimum of 2 years of experience Capable of manually applying torque up to 760 ft?lbs in accordance with job requirements Ability to read and understand blueprints Experience using hand and power tools Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
