You'll run fabrication, channel letters, routing, printing, vinyl, electrical, and install prep. Every illuminated sign, monument, and set of channel letters that leaves our building will run through your operation. This is a visible leadership role. Your ideas will directly shape our workflow, quality, and shop performance, and your results will be rewarded with a performance bonus. This role reports to our Houston, TX shop, Monday – Friday. It is fully on-site for a leader who likes being on the floor with the team. ABOUT SIGNAGE ONESignage ONE is a full-service commercial signage company. WHAT YOU'LL DO■Lead daily production across fabrication, CNC routing, printing, vinyl, channel letters, electrical, and installation prep.■Keep jobs moving between departments with clear priorities and deadlines.■Spot bottlenecks early and act before they put a schedule at risk.■Work closely with project managers, designers, production leads, and install crews.■Hold a high quality standard on both illuminated and non-illuminated signage.■Manage materials, inventory, vendor coordination, and production readiness.■Track labor hours, productivity, production costs, and department performance.■Train, mentor, and develop your team, and set clear expectations.■Review shop drawings, plans, and specs to make sure every job is built right the first time.■Build a shop culture that is safe, organized, efficient, and accountable. WHAT YOU'LL BRING■4+ years of signage manufacturing experience (required).■Working knowledge of producing commercial illuminated signage (required).■Familiarity with channel letters, UL wiring, LED modules, ACM, acrylic, cabinet fabrication, vinyl application, and CNC routing.■A track record of leading people and coordinating work in a fast-paced production environment.■The ability to read shop drawings, plans, and technical specifications.■Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.■A commitment to quality, safety, deadlines, and accountability.■The ability to work on your feet on the shop floor, including standing, walking, bending, and handling sign materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.■Bonus points for estimating and quoting experience, wide format and roll-to-roll printing, knowledge of UL sign standards, or experience scaling a growing shop.
