In Colorado Springs, CO, we are pleased to offer the role of Integration/Deployment Engineering Lead.Integration/Deployment LeadThe Integration/Deployment Lead is a newly established position responsible for the technical planning, coordination, and execution of all integration and deployment activities associated with a new Task Order. This position is the focal point between Engineering, Development, Test, Cyber, and Operations to ensure new capabilities are successfully integrated, validated, deployed, and transitioned into operational sustainment.Responsibilities include:Lead the integration, deployment, and transition of modernization initiatives under a new task order.Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for implementing new infrastructure and software capabilities working closely with existing teams and capabilities.Coordinate cross-functional activities with Engineering, Test, Cybersecurity, Operations, and Program Management.Develop deployment strategies, implementation plans, schedules, technical documentation, and operational procedures.Mentor technical personnel while fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence on the integration and deployment teams.Support customer site integration activities and travel when required.Establish the technical foundation, processes, and organizational culture of the integration team as the program expands modernization capabilitiesSupport customer site activities and travel when required.Experience & SkillsBA/BS Degree in Information Technology/Cybersecurity/Space Systems fields of studyThe position requires an active Security+ Certificate with CE and a minimum SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.The role requires the ability to travel for up to four weeks per year (less than 10% of the time) and be physically present 5 days a week.Favorable adjudication of TS/SCI is required to remain in role.Preferred Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting Department of Defense command and control, satellite communications, or other mission-critical systems.Experience leading system integration, deployment, or modernization initiatives in secure enterprise environments.Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or equivalentExperience administering Windows and Linux enterprise operating systems.Experience with enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.Experience with infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Ansible, or similar technologies.Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized applications.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.Experience working in air-gapped or classified environments.Experience coordinating activities across Engineering, Development, Test, Cybersecurity, and Operations organizations.Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring engineers.The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.
