Legal Messenger Based in Nassau County, NYAn established law-firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Legal Messenger to support daily operations throughout the Tri-state area. This position requires extensive local travel and offers an opportunity to work closely with legal and administrative teams in a fast-paced environment. Company vehicle provided.
Responsibilities:
File, retrieve, and deliver legal documents to courts and government agencies. Transport trial materials, case files, and other important documents between offices and external locations. Perform deliveries to clients, professional offices, and other designated destinations. Provide occasional transportation support for senior personnel when needed. Coordinate routine maintenance and servicing of company vehicles. Maintain delivery schedules, records, and expense reports. Manage time-sensitive assignments while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Clean and reliable driving record. Ability to lift and transport materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience handling expense reporting and recordkeeping. Familiarity with local courts, filing procedures, and the tri-state area transportation network is highly preferred. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
