Batch Weigher Responsibilities: Operating industrial mills, mixers, pumps, and other production equipment Weighing and measuring raw materials according to formulas and batch instructions Mixing batches and following the proper order of ingredients Monitoring equipment and adjusting machine settings Collecting product samples and working with Quality Control Making product adjustments as directed Packaging finished ink into various containers Labeling, canning, repacking, and preparing finished products Operating pump/filter and press-out equipment Moving materials using a forklift Recording production and processing information Performing basic troubleshooting and scheduled equipment maintenance Cleaning and maintaining production equipment and work areas Following established safety procedures and required SOPsRequirements for Mill Operator / Batch Weigher: At least three months of related manufacturing or production experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Basic math and computer skills Ability to follow formulas, written instructions, and safety procedures Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Willingness to work overtime when required Forklift experience is a plus, but training may be availableIND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
