About the role

To support accurate inventory management, the full-time Lead Cost Accountant will perform cost analysis, oversee cost accounting functions across multiple sites, and lead cost reduction projects while working remotely. Key responsibilities Manage and support cost accounting functions for multiple sites, including overseeing at least one direct report Conduct analysis of costs, identify opportunities for savings, and lead cost reduction initiatives Participate in inventory control efforts, including tracking scrap and obsolete inventories and resolving discrepancies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting 8 years of experience in cost accounting SAP experience preferred
