About the role

Director Position at Dogwood Lane Childrens Academy Dogwood Lane Childrens Academy is actively seeking a qualified Director who will oversee the daily operations and administration of our school. The Director is responsible for assisting ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education for all children within the center's care as well as ensuring all regulatory and state standards are withheld. Also, the Director needs to collaborate with staff to ensure that curriculum and classroom activities are properly delivered and that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately.
Responsibilities: Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence. Collaborate with staff to ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with Center guidelines and state and local requirements; implement improvements where needed. Maintain communication with families and community through appropriate outreach activities. Follow all center policies and state regulations. Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of child development, specifically knowledge of development for ages birth-5 years old.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • BS in related field and Administration experience within Childcare
  • Administrative Level III Certification
  • Must clear full background check.
  • Must pass health screening.
Salary: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year 401(k)401(k) matching
