About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help build and support resilient cloud infrastructure in Morristown, New Jersey. In this role, you will create automation-first solutions using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices to improve scalability, consistency, and security. You will partner with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud platforms and streamline deployment processes.
Responsibilities: Architect, implement, and maintain cloud environments across major platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Create and refine reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure code standards to enable consistent provisioning at scale. Automate infrastructure deployment, system configuration, and operational workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. Develop and support cloud networking, identity, security, and observability capabilities for enterprise applications. Work with cross-functional engineering teams to advance CI/CD pipelines and strengthen cloud automation practices. Investigate and resolve issues affecting infrastructure, cloud services, and application performance. Apply security controls, governance policies, and compliance measures throughout the cloud environment. Track platform health, availability, and resource usage to support performance optimization and capacity planning. Support container-based platforms using technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Produce clear technical documentation, architecture visuals, and operational procedures while contributing to cloud modernization initiatives.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
