About the role
Production Operator – Night Shift Carpentersville, IL$25.34/hour + Night Shift Differential Approximately 60 Hours per Week | November 2 – January 31 Looking to earn extra income before the holidays? This is a great opportunity to join a global leader in advanced materials manufacturing on a 3-month assignment with consistent overtime and steady work through the end of January. Schedule Training: First week on day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Regular Schedule:
Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Monday through Friday Night shift differential applies after training.
What You'll Do:
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment Perform equipment changeovers, cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly Bag and package finished products for shipment Weigh, measure, and handle raw materials Operate a forklift and use hand tools for degating and deflashing Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures Complete quality control and production documentation accurately
What We're Looking For:
At least 6 months of manufacturing or production experience High school diploma or GEDAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly in English for safety purposes Ability to repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds Comfortable standing for 12-hour shifts, climbing stairs and ladders, and working at heights up to 25 feet Willingness to work in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE, including a respirator Ability to pass a physical assessment and respirator fit test Mechanical aptitude and SAP experience are a plus Why Apply?
