About the role

Job Description: The NMT/NEMT Lead supports Medi-Cal Beneficiaries by coordinating transportation for eligible medical-related appointments. These include doctor visits, prescription pickups, physical therapy, and other approved services. The role ensures timely, accurate processing of transportation requests in alignment with DHCS guidelines.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (MMIS, healthcare, ride services, contact center or related field preferred). Minimum six years of functional area experience (contact center operations, healthcare operations, ride service provisioning, information technology, etc.). Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change delivering intended results and outcomes. Strong relationship management skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and mediate conflict and foster direct dialog with members, providers, external clients, employees, account partners, and internal business teams. Strong analytical skillset and critical thinking (i.e., ability to compile, interpret and analyze data to make fact-based recommendations and decisions) and proactively disseminate best practices across the account to standardize and improve workflows.
