Essential Job Functions of CDL Driver Must have valid CDL Class ASafely operate Class A truck to transport material to job site often times driving on uneven or unfinished surface Must be able to climb up to 10 feet on ladders attached to truck or fertilizer tank Daily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment on the road and in the yard Tarp load when needed, verify gates are closed Clean spilled material/buildup off box Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition. Provide Delivery service as required by established delivery standards Interact with customers and managers.
