Faculty Manager Position
Qualifications:
Current or eligible ODE Pupil Activities Certification
Strong communications & organizational skills
Objective:
- To aid in proper & effective management of "game day" high school and middle school athletic events, associated event ticketing and cash management & reporting, contracting of officials, spectator management, facility security & operations, and assistance to the Director of Athletics
- Duties & Expectations:
- Prepare event tickets, ticket reporting, start up cash, cash box, officials' contracts, rosters prior to event
- Ensure admissions and directional signage is in place
Ensure facility and equipment is open and operationalrestrooms, locker rooms, lighting, PA, scoreboard, etc.
Work in cooperation with all game workers
Greet opposing teams/coaches and provide access to facility
Work in cooperation with all officials and secure contracting information and signatures
Aid all staff in management of event
Be available in case of emergencies or if issues arise
Report all issues immediately to the Director of Athletics & Activities
Reconcile tickets and admission fees at the conclusion of the event
Secure tickets and cash in appropriate manner
Prepare reconciliation report
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics & Activities or Head Coaches
