Description: Full-Time – Kitchen Utility Service Worker Are you someone who thrives in a team environment, enjoys staying active, and finds purpose in helping others? We're seeking a Kitchen Utility Service Worker to join our committed kitchen team! This essential position ensures a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen that supports the health and healing of our residents and staff in a residential treatment setting. Responsibilities: Clean dishes, pots, and pans by hand and/or using a dishwasher Clean all work areas, including steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment Sweep and mop the kitchen and cafeteria daily Remove garbage and cardboard from the kitchen and cafeteria areas Assist in receiving and putting away food and supply deliveries Assist with the setup and breakdown of breakfast and lunch service Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule Maintain the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink in a sanitary condition May assist with light food preparation as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership
Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Prior kitchen or utility experience preferred Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR check
