Position Overview: The Industrial Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing manufacturing operations by designing efficient plant layouts, improving process flows, and establishing accurate labor and capacity requirements. This position partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to drive safety, productivity, quality, and delivery performancewhilesupportingnewproductlaunchesandoperationalexcellenceinitiatives.
Throughdata-drivenanalysisandprocessoptimization, the Industrial: Engineerhelpsensurethefacilityoperatesatpeakefficiencyandispositionedtomeetcustomerandbusinessobjectives.
What you'll do: Develop, implement, andoptimizeplantlayouts, processlayouts, andmaterialflowstrategiestoimprovesafety, quality, andoperationalefficiency. Conductcycletimestudies, laboranalyses, andworkforceplanningactivitiestosupportproductionrequirementsandcapacityutilization. Analyzeproductionprocessesandbalancemanufacturinglinestomaximizeproductivityandeliminateinefficiencies. Performergonomicassessmentsandsafetyevaluations, implementingcorrectiveactionstoreduceriskandimproveworkplaceconditions. Leadandparticipateinindustrialengineeringstudies, capacityanalyses, andcontinuousimprovementinitiativesacrossmanufacturingoperations. Supportnewproductlaunchesandprocesstransfersbyestablishinglayouts, processflows, cycletimes, andstaffingrequirements. Partnerwithcross-functionalteamstodevelopandmaintainstandardwork, operationalmetrics, andperformanceimprovementplans. Identifyandremoveindustrialengineering-relatedbarriersthatmayimpactsafety, quality, productivity, ordeliveryperformance. All other duties as assigned
Who you are: Bachelor'sdegreein IndustrialEngineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, orarelatedengineeringdiscipline. Minimumof3yearsof IndustrialEngineeringexperienceinamanufacturingenvironment;5+yearspreferred. Demonstratedexperienceconductingtimestudies, laborplanning, cycletimeanalysis, andcapacityplanning. Knowledgeofplantlayoutdesign, processoptimization, linebalancing, andworkflowimprovementmethodologies. Experienceperformingergonomicassessmentsandapplyingworkplacesafetyprinciplesinmanufacturingenvironments. Stronganalytical, problem-solving, anddatainterpretationskillswiththeabilitytomakedata-drivenrecommendations. Effectivecommunicationandcollaborationskillswiththeabilitytoinfluencecross-functionalteamsandstakeholders. Provenabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities, projects, anddeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment. Proficiencyin MicrosoftOfficeapplications, particularly Excel; familiaritywith LeanManufacturingandContinuousImprovementmethodologiespreferred. Abilitytoworkinbothofficeandmanufacturingenvironments, includingstanding, walking, climbingstairs/ladders, andoccasionallyassistingwithmovingmaterialsweighing50poundsormore; abilitytotravel 10%+asneeded.
