About the role
Taylor Bros. Construction is hiring a Project Engineer (Retail Focused) to support our Project Managers across a mix of new store builds, retail remodels, and smallscope projects. This is a program level, primarily office based role designed to support multiple projects at once by managing documentation, tracking procurement and materials, supporting schedule visibility, and consolidating project reporting.This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fastpaced retail construction environment where priorities shift quickly and communication matters.Manage and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, scope clarifications, and change documentation Track RFIs and submittals to support timely review, response, and distribution to project teams Track material releases, lead times, deliveries, and vendor commitments across multiple retail projects Coordinate procurement documentation and provide early visibility into materialrelated schedule risks Support Project Managers by tracking key milestones, approvals, and constraint items Assist with shortterm lookahead planning (2–3 week windows) using field updates and delivery status Flag potential schedule impacts early so Project Managers can take action Participate in weekly PM/PE meetings and deliver clear, actionable project updates Join clientfacing meetings as needed to support project updates, documentation status, procurement constraints, and actionitem followthrough Consolidate daily and weekly field updates into concise project summaries Assist with change documentation, extra work tracking, and scope clarifications Support project closeout by organizing turnover documents, warranties, and final records Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Bonus/Commission: No
