About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our U.S. Directional Drilling sales team. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth, executing sales strategy, and mentoring a team of six regional sales representatives across the U.S.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in directional drilling services, proven team leadership capabilities, and a track record of securing new business in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and support a team of 6 U.S.-based sales representatives Develop and implement a national sales strategy to achieve growth targets Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key regions Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Analyze market trends and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly Collaborate with internal departments (operations, marketing, engineering) to ensure alignment Report on performance metrics, forecasts, and business development activity to senior leadership
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably in directional drilling Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams Strong understanding of U.S. drilling markets and key industry players Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TXBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred
