About the role
Golden Triangle Federal Credit Union is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Vice President of Operations who is ready to make an impact. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk leadership position. They're looking for someone who enjoys being involved, developing people, solving problems, serving members, and working alongside the President/CEO to help lead the credit union forward. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President of Operations will directly impact day-to-day operations, employee development, member service, financial operations, compliance, and the credit union's overall success.
What You'll Do:
• Lead and support daily credit union and branch operations• Coach, train, and develop employees while building a strong team culture• Ensure an exceptional and consistent member experience• Oversee teller functions, account services, cash controls, ACH, wires, cards, and other operational areas• Support general ledger activity, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency• Support regulatory reporting, audits, examinations, and ongoing compliance• Partner directly with the President/CEO on operational priorities and initiatives• Step in, solve problems, and be a trusted resource for employees and members Who They're Looking For: They're looking for an experienced credit union or financial institution professional who understands operations, knows how to lead people, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. The right person will be approachable, dependable, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely cares about their team, their members, and the community they serve.
